You don't have to believe in evolution to truly experience and enjoy the wonders of the Galapagos. Famed for its untouched beauty and natural habitat for animals and wildlife, the Galapagos is often referred to as a bucket list destination for many. CP Travel Ambassador Debra Thune and her husband Tony got a chance to explore the islands with Celebrity Cruises. What was your favorite memory?
Absolutely everything! But, if I had to pick just one thing, then I would say swimming with penguins. I love penguins and I was hoping to see just one. Not only did we see hundreds of penguins, but getting to swim with them was beyond a dream come true!

Penguins, cormorants, sea lions, and large marine iguanas all cohabitatiing together on the rocks in Punta Moreno
Were there any standout restaurants or foodie must-haves?
The food was fantastic. In the Galapagos, the cruise lines can only serve food from the Galapagos. Be sure to try the Galapagos shrimp. Delicious!
How would you describe the people and culture of this destination?
Totally amazing. Incredible. Mind-blowing.
What is something people would be surprised to learn about this destination?
No two islands are the same. There are different things to see on each island.

Any expectations you may have will be FAR EXCEEDED. You can't even imagine what an AMAZING experience you will have!
What makes this destination a must-see in your opinion?
The experience is unbelievable. The naturalists are very knowledgeable and they come with you on every excursion.
