What was your favorite memory from this trip? The Safari experience in Kraongwe a Private Game Reserve was amazing. The animals the accommodations were top notch.

Were there any standout restaurants or foodie must-haves on this trip? The Test Kitchen in Cape Town - reservation required.
How would you describe the people and culture of this destination? Any interesting cultural lessons? The people were all so nice and sweet. Everyone went out of there way to take care of us. I think experiencing Africa is a cultural lesson on its own. I think people have a misconception of what Africa is like. It is a very diverse continent.
What is something people would be surprised to learn about this destination? I think people would be surprised at how 'westernized" certain areas of South Africa are. I was also surprised at how cheap everything was.

- Dress in layers - mornings were chilly and afternoons were hot, especially in the winter months.
- Bring a good camera and binoculars Bring lots of cash, for buying souvenirs and tipping.
- Most of Africa runs on Caribbean time, so be patient.
- Winter is the best time to travel there to see more animals - June, July, August
